ToxiClenz Cancer Fighting Cubes for Dogs
This is the current combination we just made for ClaraBaughn our almost 12 year old cocker spaniel. that weighs about 17 pounds. ClaraBaughn has always been super healthy and enjoys a great selection of fresh veggies daily, along with the rare fruit! She loves her partially raw diet, right down to stealing habaneros (yes, habaneros) off the bush. What can we say. The only issues, she has increasingly been breaking out in bumpy "tumors" all over her little puppy body. We have experimented with different canine cancer protocols over the last few years, and have found we really like using ToxiClenz and high quality flax seed combinations, along with real, organic veggies.
What exactly is ToxiClenz? ToxiClenz is simply a white, all natural powder made of food grade fresh water, amorphous diatomaceous earth (or fossilized shell flour). ToxiClenz is naturally rich in silica and 14 other trace minerals including: Boron, Calcium, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorous, Potassium, Sodium, Sulfate Sulfur, Titanium, Vanadium, Zinc, and Chlorides. Diatomaceous earth is safe for human or pet consumption and works like a miracle roto rooter, restoring your body to help. ToxiClenz kills parasits, absorbs mercury, E. coli, endotoxins, viruses, and organo-phosphate pesticide residues, drug residues, and proteinaceous residues produced by bacterial infections. It has also been reported to shrink tumors and help pull cancer out, anecdotally, but what does it hurt? If you want more information, order the booklet, "The ToxiClenz Report."
This recipe made 14 portions, enough for a 2 week supply of cancer fightting ToxiClenz canine, whole food homemade supplements to help fight the tumors. We added a special formula into the cubes, to make an anti-anxiety dose, since her girl (her beloved girl, that she gets all mopey without) is headed out of town for the weekend. To help puppy-girl cope, we mixed in some GABA, 5-htp, Sun-Theanine and Vitamin D for cancer fighting - all carefully researched for a 17 pound dog, and divided into 14 doses.
Blend the following in a Vita-Mix or strong blender.
- 3-4 Tablespoons ToxiClenz
- 3 carrots
- 1 cup asparagus (we cut off the ends for the dog!)
- 2 tablespoons flax seed oil, high quality
- 2 inch chunk ginger
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 leaf lettuce
- 1 handful cherry tomatoes (since she lives to pluck them off the vine with her puppy mouth!)
Blend in Vita-Mix container and then divide evenly into 14 doses in ice cube trays. Store in the freezer, in an air-tight freezer container. Remove one cube daily, and allow to thaw, adding to dogs food of feeding plain.
Optional Anxiety Fighting Supplements for Dogs (14 day supply mixed into cubes = daily dose for 17lb cocker spaniel)
- 1 Vitamin D pill, 4000 iu (dose is 285 per day)
- 1 GABA 1000 mg pill - this is pure GABA with no vit B (dose is 71 mg per day)
- 2 5-HTP 100 mg pills (dose is 14 mg per day)
- 1 L-Theanine 100 mg also known as Sun-Theanine pill (7 mg per day dose)
This combination is similar to several pet formulas out there that help dogs combat anxiety, particularly separation anxiety! GABA can also help an older dog be peppier.
We are not recommending you try ANY of this without talking to your personal pet care provider. You also need to calculate dosage carefully, dividing it by animal weight and dosage size, for each pill. Do not use "multi-vitamin" pills as these have additional vitamins and minerals that would need to be calculated in the body weight/dose formula.
5-HTP Doses for Dogs
The research I have on 5-HTP for dogs is 1-2 mg/kg. You arrive at that formula by dividing the dog's weight by 2.2. ClaraBaughn is 17 pounds. Another vet recommended 1 mg of 5HTP per pound, which would allow her 17 mgs of 5-HTP per day, and we are dosing under that with 14 mg per day in 14 days of cubes. It took my about 15 minutes to figure out the doses!

Tryptophan or 5-HTP Doses for Dogs
How Tryptophan is Supplied
- Tryptophan for animals is available in capsules containing 75mg or 150 mg tryptophan. 5-HTP is available as 50 mg or 100 mg capsules.
Dosing Information
- Medication should never be administered without first consulting your veterinarian.
- The minimum quantity of tryptophan that is required to maintain nitrogen equilibrium in adult dogs was estimated to be 6.5 mg per pound (13 mg/kg/day), daily and has been set as the daily requirement. In puppies, the requirement is considerably higher, around 41 mg per pound (82 mg/kg). Much of the D-form of tryptophan is inverted to L-tryptophan in mature dogs. Normally, tryptophan is derived from dietary proteins. A behavioral study conducted at Tufts using 10 mg/kg of tryptophan twice daily, fed incorporated into custom diets, showed no obvious side effects while study dogs' dominant and territorial aggressive behavior was significantly reduced.
- In cats, the dose of L-tryptophan is 7.5 to 10 mg per pound (15 to 20 mg/kg) once to twice daily.
- The dose of 5-HTP used at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine for treatment of canine aggression is 1 mg per pound (2 mg/kg) orally twice a day.
- The duration of administration depends on the condition being treated, response to the medication, and the development of any adverse effects. Be certain to complete any prescription from a veterinarian unless specifically directed otherwise.

We headed out after church to a worldview seminar in Chattanooga. Since we would be gone all day, we had ClaraBaughn, our cocker spaniel, in the car. Her girl had packed her crate, blankets, her water and food bowls, leash, doggie bags and we headed out for a long day. After an almost 4 hour drive we ended up in Chattanooga, and realized we had forgotten FOOD.
Sigh.

Okay - so we are all PEOPLE here, with little PEOPLE for kids, but my vet recommends that we clean our cocker spaniels ears out with apple cider vinegar (organic, but of course!). With the spaniel we just take a big piece of clean cotton ball, put the ACV on it and wipe gently. This helps with the waxy build up that they get, and I believe it is mildly astringent.
Of course their "finely feathered flaps of leather" otherwise known as ears are famous for infections, etc. Mine have never had ear infections, we keep the ears pretty clean and shave the hair near the ear(which is completely unneeded with most humans! LOL!)
I have never quite had the guts to try it in my own ears, but someone might Google it if they were interested!
Just thoughts....
LisaB!
