Spinach Sauteed with Garlic

Spinach Sauteed with Garlic is the easiest side dish in the world to make. Bursting with nutrition, vitamins, antioxidants and flavor, it whips out in less than ten minutes. This is a great way to use up spinach! We have this at least once a week, if not more!
Spinach Sauteed with Garlic is wholeheartedly anti-inflammatory diet friendly, and will hit the high notes on all GAPS, primal and paleo, low carb eating plans. Naturally gluten and casein free, you gotta whip up a huge bowl of it today!
- 1 large bag of spinach or 1/2 a large tub
- 1 tablespoon EVOO (okay, I just drizzle it!)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic or a couple of freshly pressed garlic cloves
- sea salt and pepper to taste

In a large, flat bottomed saucepan, drizzle the EVOO. Turn on medium heat and begin to heat the oil. Throw in fresh garlic and gently saute for a few minutes.Salt and pepper to taste

Add fresh spinach and stir to combine flavors. As the spinach leaves begin to cook, they will begin to wilt in the pan. This is exactly what you want them to do. If dinner is almost done, I will normally put a lid on the spinach and let it steam, taking it off the heat, while I assemble the rest of the meal or dish out onto plates. Spinach should be the last thing on plates.
You can add a drizzle of fresh cream to make a creamed spinach.
