Gluten Free Poblano Burger

Sometimes, you just want to knock the paleo or primal lifestyle (sans the oppressive worldview) up a notch and have a burger on a bun. When that urge strikes, we have TWO great ways to serve up a slew of Gluten Free Poblano Burger Sandwiches for your crew. The burgers whip up in minutes and grill fast, also storing perfectly in the freezer for a quick meal later.

Now for the gluten free bread part - either make our truly low carb, paleo and primal friendly Rosemary Focaccia with Roasted Garlic and Olives that is totally grain free. Rosemary Focaccia is a delicious flatbread, the single most important recipe we have developed in our grain free lifestyle.

Either grab some Udi's Hamburger Buns in the store (freezer section in the gluten free zone) or use one of our grain free focaccia breads.
- 2 lbs ground sirloin or hamburger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 poblano peppers, chopped
- 2 cayenne/jalapeno cubes or 2 jalapenos finely diced
Oil Roasted
- 1 whole garlic, roasted
- 1 onion, roasted
Mix meat with spices, combining well. Add chopped poblanos, roasted garlic and onions, along with diced jalapenos, mix well. Make sure the meat mixture is evenly combined - so each bite is flavorful and delicious.

Throw Roasted Garlic Poblano Burgers on a medium grill, and barbecue on both sides, until done. Or, grill Roasted Garlic Poblano Burgers in a cast iron skillet on medium, till done on both sides.
