Coffee Lover's Only English Toffee Sundae
English Toffee Sundae

My all time favorite ice cream creation is from Cold Stone Creamery's signature creation, Coffee Lover's Only. The nearest Cold Stone is over the Blue Ridge Mountains and in the next state, so we had to come up with an alternative!
Create your own restaurant remake Coffee Lover's Only treat by scooping coffee ice cream, chopped English Toffee, roasted almonds and topping with our creamy, easy Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce. The original Coffee Lover's Only recipe calls for caramel, so if you prefer that, simply switch it to our Hot Caramel Sauce recipe!
- Coffee Ice Cream (we used Earth Fare's Organic....free with a coupon!)
- 1-2 tablespoons chopped English Toffee
- 1 recipe Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons sliced roasted almonds
Make up a batch of English Toffee, and chop into small pieces, about 1-2 tablespoons needed per sundae. You can chop the whole recipe up and keep on hand to use for sundae toppings, cake garnishes or whatever else you might use it for.
Make a batch of Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce.
To assemble:
To make a simple English Toffee Sundae
Scoop coffee ice cream, drizzle Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce on top, sprinkle with chopped roasted almonds and English Toffee.
Coffee Lover's Only - Cold Stone Creamery Style
Scoop coffee ice cream onto a cutting board or chilled marble slab. Sprinkle with chopped roasted almonds and English Toffee and top with cooled Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce.
Mix together with large spoons like they do at Cold Stone, or just sort of chop and smoosh with a knife. Enjoy!
