Mocha Frappuccino Starbucks Style
Guess what I just made??? My very own Mocha Frappuccino. When it comes to cappuccino, I am personally a purist, espresso with foamed nonfat milk is my favorite, and a shake of pure chocolate powder. While out with a friend on a hot day, she treated me to Starbucks, and I had my first (after 20 years of cappuccino) frappuccino and it was actually rather tasty. My disdain for milkshake coffee melted in this cool drink, but I knew I had to figure out how to cut that sweet and make it work for me, so we have two versions.

Mocha Frappuccino ~Starbucks style
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup
- 1-2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup fresh, strong coffee
- 1 cup ice
Combine milk, chocolate syrup, sugar and coffee in a blender. I like the Vita-Mix! Whir up for a few seconds, to make sure that the sugar gets blended in.
Then add your cup of ice, and whir in the blender until frothy.
Pour into two tall glasses. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate if you like.
