Blackened Lime Turkey in the Crock Pot

What does a homeschooling mama do with a rare and treasured day alone? Work on taxes, but of course! Really, spent the whole morning doing a wonderful Old Testament study on Amos and really studying the history of Israel and her neighbors!
As time to seriously dig into taxes rolled around, I immediately went to the kitchen. Really, who wants to work on taxes? Looked at my menu plan for dinner, stir-fry is on the list tonight. Decided to swap and make a quick and healthy turkey recipe, Blackened Lime Turkey in the Crock Pot. Like all of our slow cooker recipes, it is easy, breezy and this one only takes three ingredients to make this delicious low carb, gluten free, casein free treat!
2 turkey tenderloins or 4 chicken breasts
Lime juice
Blackened Seasoning
This is so easy, it almost kills me to write it down! Place turkey tenderloins or chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Drizzle with lime juice. Sprinkle with our amazing Blackened Seasoning. Put lid on and cook on high for 5-6 hours, or on low all day.
Easy, breezy!
For a low carb meal, serve with a gigantic salad and sliced, roasted or garlic sauteed zuchinni with fresh herbs.
To extend it more for a larger family, double and serve with bowls of black or pinto beans, and Spanish rice, along with a big green salad!
