Shredded Beef Burritos - 15 Minute Meal

Build A Burrito 

Use a frozen package of our delcious Prudent Wife Shredded Beef to make up more “Emergency Meals and 15 Minute Dinners!” when you make delicious shredded beef burritos. So many options, flavor them to taste exactly like your favorite restaurant!

Shredded beef

Flour Tortillas (choose whole wheat extra fiber for more nutrition) or the fun flavors in the stores today

 

Tomatoes, chopped

Shredded cabbage or lettuce, or shredded spinach leaves

Shredded cheese

Optional garnishes, chopped cilantro, onions, red bell peppers, cucumbers jalapenos, olives, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, thinly chopped spinach, a squeeze of lemon or lime and more. Whatever sounds GOOD on a burrito will work!

Set the table – this one is very fast!  Defrost a package of homemade refried beans and a package of Shredded Beef. Heat refried beans on the stove top or in the microwave while you chop tomatoes, shred cabbage and cheese and any other options.  Put on the table with salsa and garnishes. Cook or microwave the shredded beef to warm. Warm the tortillas in a cash iron skillet, over an open flame if you have gas heat or in the microwave.  Keep the tortillas wrapped/covered so they don't dry out and warm.  Assemble burritos at the table, enjoy the tasty refried beans and the fun build a burrito meal!
