The Prudent Wife

Thoughts of a gallbladder liver flush are dancing through your head. It sounds so good, but do you really want to try the Epsom salts, lemon juice, olive oil thing? If you aren't sure, try this fabulously simple version Flushy Slushy, ideal for families to do together.Prudent daughter Emily rates this recipe a 10! 

Liver Gallbladder Flush ~ Whole Juice Smoothie Style Flushy Slushy

 1 Lemon (squeeze and use the juice)

2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (go for a high quality organic if you can) 

2 Tablespoons chopped FRESH parsley

1 Tablespoon chopped FRESH ginger root

1 banana

Optional

Apple juice (not from concentrate) 

Ice Cubes 

Amazingly easy directions ~ your kids can make these up. Put all ingredients in your handy dandy Vita-Mix with a little bit of apple juice or water (amount of water and apple juice are to taste and to give you the texture you like). Whir on high. You can add ice to make a frosty summer smoothie.

You can drink this Flushy Slushy in place of your evening meal, or 2-3 hours after your evening meal. We are drinking it for breakfast or lunch.

Drink for 6 consecutive days! Great for anytime. Kids love the taste, Sandy's kids call it "The Green Milkshake" and begged for them.

Note....although this isn't a happy topic - be aware that your stool will turn black/green and stinky! While this is rather disgusting, it shows you that the Flushy Slushy is working hard to FLUSH your system and the gallstones will be excreted along with your normal stool. You can also adapt this easier to a busy lifestyle, as it doesn't require the 2 days being shackled to the toilet like the Epsom Salt procedure, which we highly recommend after doing this one!

What to expect beyond that? Folks are reported to have passed stones the size of large peas. One dear sweet older lady from NC reported she would never have even known she passed any stones unless she had heard them "plinking" as they dropped in the toilet.
