Want a little more fire and spice in our Blackened Lime Chicken in the Crock Pot?
Then try the spicy cayenne infused Cayenne Lime Chicken in the Crock Pot. Like all of our slow cooker recipes, it is easy, breezy and this one only takes four ingredients to make this delicious low carb, gluten free, casein free treat.
Cayenne Lime Chicken works for paleo and primal diets (without the worldview) and is GAPS friendly.
- 4 chicken breasts
- Lime juice
- Blackened Seasoning
- Dried cayenne peppers, chopped
This is so easy, it almost kills me to write it down! Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Drizzle with lime juice. Sprinkle with our amazing Blackened Seasoning. With kitchen scissors, nip as many cayenne peppers as you would like onto the chicken breasts, including seeds. Put lid on and cook on high for 5-6 hours, or on low all day.
For a low carb meal, serve with a gigantic salad and sliced, roasted or garlic sauteed zucchini with fresh herbs.
To extend it more for a larger family, double and serve with bowls of black or pinto beans, and Spanish rice, along with a big green salad!
